Background and Experience
1) Verissimo Photography Services, Inc. has over 40 years in providing professional photography for schools, youth sports, high schools, dances and senior portraits.
2) Our company has seen different names over the years but, has always been a family ran business. Al Verissimo started in January 1978 with Edwards Photography out of southern California, one of the founding companies in the school portrait business. In January of 1989 Jostens Publishing purchased Edwards Photography. In December of 1999 Jostens relinquished the school photography division. We then ventured out on our own, building Verissimo Photography Services, Inc. to what it is today. We have partnered with a quality lab in southern California, with state of the art equipment and software, that will enable us to have quick returns on our products. Our company has the most up to date equipment and software to maintain every school in your district, as we have the past 40 years.
3) The number of employees at a school site depends on the enrollment and/or requirements of each school.(See Proposed Staffing per site) We pride ourselves in our customer service and quality that we have always maintained.
4) We are self contained and never subcontract any of our services.
